The Nigerian Army has started investigations on the alleged stealing of N400 million by some soldiers in the 8 Division, Sokoto State.

Major General Hakeem Oladapo Otiki was in the convoy but when they got to jaji he took an air flit the soldiers vanished with the money, the soldiers removed their uniforms and left there rifles and phone in the vehicle making them impossible to track.
However he mentioned the names of the men who were involved in this act. They Corporal Gabriel Oluwaniyi, Corporal Mohammed Aminu, Corporal Haruna, Oluji Joshua and Hayatudeen. He also said that it's not the first time that the escort soldiers have transported such a huge amount of money for the officer.
